I hope she recovers quickly and completely. She is lucky to have a husband who was able to think clearly, and do the right thing to enable re-attachment. I don't think everyone would know what to do in such a case. Take care of her until she is well.

So sorry to hear about the wife and I hope all go wells'. I know about the normal 25 min ride to the hospital and making it quicker.
The grandson was setting on my lap the last of Feb. and his cheek came in contact with a Coleman heater in the cab of the old 425.
Never cried ,when it happened or when putting the cream on his face or the emeregey room visit . Only when he seen the table paper they use he hates the sound and sight of it . Threw a holy fit till we had it removed then he was fine and Grandpa felt some better
He's my little man born 12 weeks premature . Just turned 2 and doing well and gets in to everthing.
Back to your wife I do hope all goes well.

Hey Gerard,

I hope all goes well for your Wife.

When I was very young, I got my right hand in the tractor fan, and lost part of the tip on my middle finger. Then when I was around 14, I was helping my friend fold up his ping pong table and a lost a little bit of the tip on my index finger on the same hand.

Since those 2 episodes, I have really tried hard to keep my fingers and hands out of things that can pinch them.

Working with equipment on the 3ph, makes me think that it would be so easy to do there also.

Again all the best and hopefully all will work out ok.

They say all things happen for a reason, so, this accident may have averted something even worse.

Gerard, I know this sounds silly but it helped a friend's foot injury, leeches. They get put on the amputated part and they suck the blood. They have some kind of anticoagulant in them so this keeps the blood flow to the injured part. I hope the best for you.

Injuries to the fingers or limbs are the most painful.
Everyone there will have to treat her like a queen for a while
