Shooting dogs on sight? I don't see any call for this. Could just be someones lost dog. I know we have too many unwanted pets in America but I don't see any need to shoot dogs on site. Around here alot of bird dogs get lost every year. These guys are not wild killers just because they are in the woods. Just one example.

We have pets stores selling foo foo dogs for up to $5000.00 while the pounds and woods are full of unwanted pets...

40 lb coyote? One guy above is talking 60lbs. Huge for coyotees. Pretty rare. I am not saying they don't ever get large but that is pretty rare...

Ferel dogs are a totally different matter. When I see one out in the woods, I shoot it. I've never been attacked, but have met people who said they have been. I don't know for sure, but the few times I've seen ferel dogs, it's been 50/50 on aggressive and timid.

When I was a kid in KY we had 2-3 people killed by ferel dogs. I think they were adults as well. A timber agent I worked with said he was treed by a pack of ferel dogs one day. He as trapped in the tree for hours before they left and he felt save enough to climb down and get.

Yeah, use the foo foo as bait for the 'yotes and then Eddie gets a fur collar and coat....

Are you kidding...Eddie finds out he can make more raising them than selling RV slots and he'll be raising them by the dozens. He could do it ya know.

I never stir up trouble. People simply take my words and choose to do with them what they will. The burden falls on those who misunderstand my words, read more into them that exists, misunderstand the concept of humor or who take offense to hearing the truth.

As to the issue of this thread, if I see a stray Kioti in the woods, I will shoot it

This reminded of a time about 15 years back. I was in Cheyenne at a dog show. A guy ask me what I thought of his dog. I critiqued his dog and introduced myself. He told me that I was the only friendly person and why are all these "dogshow people so unfriendly". I had to tell him.......It is your vest! He went to the dog show wearing a Coyote vest.. It looked just like a sable Geman Shepherd Dog or Husky etc... The dog show folk were disgusted and were very cold to the guy... I never saw him again....
