What a riot, I never spent any time online until I discovered TBN because I had a wireless email pager and that was all I needed. Since I began hanging out here my spouse has been checking on me frequently wondering why I am using the PC all the time. She is actually disappointed she can't catch me looking at **** sites, so now she is picking on me because:
"You are wasting your time with that silly tractor group".
Guess it's payback time for me, because I kept nagging her:
"Why are you wasting time with that childish Solitaire game"
Serves me right.

Wifey considers this site and Shootersville harmless entertainment for me. She even grabbed the digital camera and came sneaking out to get a pic of me hauling off a big piece of silver maple tree "so you could show it to your tractor buddies". I got a kick out of that, although she was so far away you'd need to use you imagination to see the 'Bota and me. Gotta teach the girl to use the zoom /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif..............chim

I really like the TDR, but I mostly post and surf in this site since it is free to post messages. You do see a lot of the same people on both sites, and it has been as informative about my truck as this site is for tractors.

I already have a snowblower and a 60" MMM that I had purchased with the BX2200 that I kept in the deal to use on the BX23. I decided not to get the tires filled on this tractor. I never filled the tires on the BX2200 and I felt like the weight of the backhoe on the BX23 would be enough counter weight.
The dealer gave me $8000 for the tractor I had. The tractor had about 100 hours and was about 2 years old. I never had any trouble with it and it was in great shape. I never had the tractor stored outside. I picked up the new tractor for $15,500. I also went with the ag tires instead of the turf tires. I had the ag tires on the BX2200 and found that unless the soil was really sandy, it never ripped the turf when mowing.
I believe that the 4 way valve comes standard on the BX23. I plan on getting the tractor home and after some play time with hoe, I'll be putting the snowblower on. You can't beat the snowblower on this tractor for removing snow so I'll be waiting for spring to really start some landscaping.

That's too funny, my wife calls it the same thing. And I also give her a hard time about the online games on Yahoo. So I guess it all evens out in the end........well except who gets the computer first.

I'll have to think about the filled tires again. I remember reading that there was a foam that could be put into the tire. I have read that others are putting "beet Juice" into the tires. The dealer said that they put "rim saver" into the tires to keep the liquid from damaging the rims. Does this work? I know from friends of mine that they have found major wheel damage buying used tractors that at one time or another had the tires filled.
My wife made the joke one time while I was on the TDR, "why can't you surf the porno sites like my friend's husbands!!" "it would be a lot cheaper". She really likes that I surf these sites prior to making a purchase, so although its only been 11 years.....I'll keep her around!
