If my wife didn't have enough mass in her a#$ to trip the switch I'd let her sit in my lap more often. ;)Trust me that will self correct with time.
The seat nanny should only shut off the PTO or perhaps put it into park so it can't roll away from you while you are on the ground.

My MX5100 safety switch is off to one side under the seat and I learned I can cause the tractor to cut out by leaning over one side to check my tiller while in operation. My guess is that other Kubotas are also off to one side so maybe she could just lean to the other side while operating? Have her throw her weight into it.

Actually, when you explain the problem her light weight and small frame has caused i figure she will be so thrilled you'll be good for one or two more attachments or maybe even a backhoe. Potential is there to make some hay with this one.

I suppose for the short time she's on there you could fashion a quick release bungee cord to hold down the seat as a temp measure.

I weigh 210#, my 12 yr old son 55#, if I lean to far to stbd/right side it will shut off, my son driving it often shuts off over bumps, so I tied the seat with a bungee cord to the pressure springs under it, it still shuts off when he gets up but works better when he sits now on it, every now and then I see him being frustrated and starting the tractor ;-)

My son does has the same issue. Keeps him going slow so that's good.

She only weighs 105 lbs so I guessing its the safety switch on the seat? Has anyone else ran it to this problem?.
Only in my dreams. You lucky son of a gun.
