That's a lot of weight you got back there. You oughta be able to pull a wheelie for sure! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Very nice machine. Good luck and be careful!

Thanks guys. The dealer called this afternoon to do a follow up and clarify a couple of items. First off was the hydraulic locker he installed. So I can tun off the loader hydraulics when I have the mower deck installed.

Second was to make sure I removed the rear ballast weights when I use the mower deck IF, I take the FEL off. It seems the techs put about ten suitcase weights in the back combined with my calcium fill and wheel weights I got about 700lbs on my back side. Temp stuff but he didn't want me doing any damage to my lawn

Unfortuantely it had to rain yet again today so no mowing yet, its supposed to be 65-70 and cool tomorrow, decent on Monday and rain again tuesday. I will try it tomorrow but may just wait until monday. This is the first cut of the season and it really needs it, real bad.

Cool Machine - I've seen them on the showroom floor - it certainly is the beefiest garden tractor I've ever seen. One question - how does the ballast box mount and dismount? Is it on a 3pt?

Congrats on the new tractor. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to get one too.

Steve: The ballast box on it is frame mounted and bolted on and has a place to hitch my pull car onto. The ballast box I have on order is a 3pt hitch style.

Steve02: It took me a long time to get to this point and I am drooling about using it.

Nice looking rig! I have had a X595 for a year now and I have been real happy with it. It is a joy to use and seems to be well made. I think you'll like it.

Scotd1,

It seems to me that I have to remove the FEL to remove the MMM is this the case? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

There was an article in Time magazine a few weeks ago about new toys like yours. This guy in particular paid 17K for his X585. He was then summarily kicked out of his neighborhood's yearly landscaping contest because his neighbors thought he had an unfair advantage with his new rig! Thought that was pretty funny /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your new tractor looks like something to behold, congrats!

I don't know, I don't have a FEL on mine. But it seems like it would be a major hassle if that's the case. If it won't clear the FEL, I would try to drop the deck, use the FEL to raise the front of the tractor off the ground and roll the deck out from under it. That should give you enough clearance. That would be alot easier than taking the FEL off and on every time.
