Mystery Knob/Valve B7100??

Thanks to all for the loads of info. That power steering really looks intriguing, especially after watching my 14y/o daughter trying to steer that thing around the driveway!

But the price on that adapter, $73!!! Now I just have to remove that thing to see why! Does anyone have a guess as to how much fluid I'll lose when I take it off?

Maybe I should wait until after I order some hyd fluid.....

You will lose little if any fluid when you take it off. Be sure to check O'ring while you have it off. Do not start engine.

In your first picture, there's a bolt with a locknut on it. Turn the bolt counter clockwise and it should lower your 3ph faster. I have a 1978 B7100 gear drive and that's what my 3ph adjuster looks like.
