Hi everyone, From Ontario Canada here. This past weekend went all the way down to Iowa to pick up a used BX2350 only 17 hours. I met her on the internet on Ebay. When I met her in person she was everything a man could want! not even a blemish. She didn't mind 700 mile trip home even though she was strapped and chained for 2 days. She lookes forward to taking over some of the hard work from John Deere my friend of many years. We plan to build a new home next spring. BTW my new girlfiends name is Koddy and my wife of 30 years thinks she's great to. Thanks to everyone who posted on here to give me the information to make a wise purchase.

The reason I drove all that way is that this unit is as good as new only 17 hours. I priced new here in Ontario and I figure I saved myself $5000.00. I paid $11,000.00 US

I pondered having a used Kubota hauled from the U.S.A. for the savings in $$$. Heck I would have saved quite a bunch even if I had bought my L3400 brand new there rather than up here given the difference in the dollar now.

Ultimately I chickened out as I did not have a truck or trailer to haul one home myself and trying to pay to get it done was getting kinda expensive.

How did things go at the border? Guessing you had to pay GST and PST ? Any import duty? What kind of paperwork did you need?

Any of these sort of details you can post that will help another Canuck like me who was thinking about buying south of the border might really help the next guy who is looking into it.

Hi Canoetrpr............It was a snap....no problems at the border just pay the gst & pst. No duties. The tractor needs to be clean and free of any dirt or they will make you back and clean it.
