NAA Oil Leak

Thanks for the help, I pulled it apart yesterday and all of the "o" rings were there (I think 5?) Are the part numbers above for the "o" rings? If so, do I order them at the New Holland dealer?

The rings didn't look bad but as far as I can see, the leak comes from a nut that is just to hold the plate down so that would mean one of the o rings is leaking and that is the point that the oil escapes?

Glenn, if I had o-rings I needed to replace, I think I would check with a good auto parts store or industrial supply to find my o-rings. Take the old ones with you to match sizes. If you buiy them by part number at a Ford or NH dealer, I'm sure you will have to pay many times what you would by buying generic o-rings. Of course, your Ford/NH dealer may have a box of o-rings like the auto parts store and be able to match them for you. On and old tractor like the NAA, you could also order them from YTMag or some other place online, but even so, you will pay a big price for what you could find at an auto parts store or industrial supply. If you have NAPA stores in Canada, I think I'd check with them first. When you replace the o-rings, coat them in grease or Vasoline and they will stay put while you put the cover on.

The one advice i would give.. is that on hyd orings for ford tractors.. get ford orings... some parts are picky.. also.. many times you find square cut oring in some places.. and not round profile orings... etc. can't say for sure on the naa cover.. etc. I know cnh sells a kit for the hundred series..e tc.
