TYM 2015 T1003C (100hp) tractor. Been running this machine since 2016 and never had this warning light (the red, downward facing arrow) come on until last week. I was bush hogging acres of tall, thick weeds with white, fluffy seed heads. This white fluff clogged my hood air inlets and radiator screens so frequently that, to prevent engine overheating, I carried a leaf blower in the cab. The light only came on at the high RPM setting required to run my 15' Bush Hog and would immediately go out when I reduced power slightly. The tractor manual illustration of the instrument cluster doesn't show this symbol at all. My guess is it's a warning that the engine isn't getting enough air due to the air cleaner/filter ingesting seed heads. This machine comes with two air filters which I've removed and cleaned as best I can. The inner filter was clean. The outer filter has a honey-comb-like wax structure which is impossible to see inside to determine if it's clogged.

Can anyone please confirm my suspicion that this is a warning light for an engine air issue? I also cannot identify the unlit icon to the right of the lit green 4-wheel indicator that has two boxes with "L" and "R" inside them. My manual also says nothing about this icon and it's never come on. Not sure if it's a warning for something or just a general info indicator light. Hopefully I've attached the photo of the icons successfully.

The red light is the air filter restriction. Might be time to blow the filter out or get a new one.

The other with the L and R letters is the brake pedal lock. You have 2 brake pedals, one for the left rear wheel and the other for the right rear wheel. This helps turning very sharp. It also has a lock that locks both pedals together.

They put the light there because, lets say you're driving on the road and need to come to a sudden stop. If you have the pedals unlocked, you risk pressing only one of the pedals which will make for a very very bad day as you can lose the control of the tractor. Basically, you want the pedals locked, unless you need that feature.

Thanks, ptsg for confirming the air filter blocked icon. Had no clue about the brakes as they have always been locked. On my hilly farm having them unlocked at an inopportune time would indeed promise a "very very bad day".

Yeah, the manual advises to lock them for higher speeds but I would keep those pedals locked unless I really need them unlocked.

Maybe it's the analogue horror I've been watching, but that avatar is... uncomfortable. 🤣
