Neat fence, ever seen one like this?

Look again, there are also spikes on the long boards running at 45 degrees to the punji sticks. Man I don't want to meet the creature he is trying to contain or repel....yikes.

I've never seen anything like that - but, it makes me think its an effort to keep something (sheep) inside the fence without putting up normal sheep fencing. Also five wire fencing is not normal. Four wire is normal - at least around here. I agree with dave1929's first remark - weird.

It's obviously a dual-purpose fence; it will repel zombies and space invaders. I'm also betting, from the looks of it, it would be a bit formidible for a hunter to climb over...or if they have a nice well-stocked pond, it would discourage unwanted fishermen. Most farmers I know gripe more about folks climbing over the fence and stretching the wire, than they do about them not asking permission.

Is that a runway behind the fence? Kinda hard to tell from the photo.

I like the "stakes" in the fence. I wish I could put those in my gate to keep people from climbing.

Saw this driving down the road the other day. Makes me think of some kind of German WWII fence. I'd be interested in seeing pics of unique fences.

This fence actually serves a purpose. It keeps trespassers from slipping thru the wire and keeps livestock from sticking their head thru.

Can't tell for sure, but the pointed stakes look like they could be wooden grade stakes. The stake that is broken/bent looks like it could be wood.

My first thought was to keep deer out, by making a visual fence along with the physical.
