Nice application really. You have to be a bit of an acrobat to crawl over all the stuff to get into the operator's seat though. Everytime they add something out front, it's another obstacle to climb over. Not a big deal for a youngster like you, but a major deal for us old methane outgassers.;)

Yall ever see a Rail Mobile or TrackMobile little truck/tractor like thing with a set of rail wheels set perpendicular to the road wheels. They have a hitch on each side of the operators cab to move cars. I had a friend of mine that used to be bad to drink. He worked the yard at a fertilizer plant moving full and empty gondola cars. I was interested in them and asked how they handled. He told me they did good pulling 5 empties or 2 loaded ones. I asked how they stopped, and he told me that the stopping distance with 5 loaded cars down hill was exactly 2 car lengths past the end of track bumpers in the gravel. lol

I think the idea is that it can be easily removed and used for other things on site.
