If I was buying a new trl. with single tires I would seriously consider the 17.5s. I have them on a 42 ft. equipment trl. with 15k axles I bought new in 93.

On a trailer I will put nothing on but Greenball Tow Master Radials.

The Greenball tires seem to actually be Goodrich tires. Made by Goodrich as special trailer tires?

I have 17.5's on my trailer with 16-plys, it came with Goodyear's, I've put on a couple sets of Double Coins, today I replaced two of them with Dyna Traks. I also replaced all six of the 14-ply 19.5's on my F450. Needless to say it was a spendy day. I get about a year out of a set of tires on the truck and trailer.

They use triangle brand 17.5s.
