Theres nothing wrong in doing it that way.. not ideal but..
Just be sure to replace ALL the gaskets in the pre-chamber... otherwise you'll get a combustion leak around the injector..
The gaskets are about 1.00 apiece so don't scrimp out..
Just go to the Hoye tractor site & buy them.. or theres Fredicks..
I haven't spent much time on the Fredricks site but the Hoye site is EASILY navigated.. & u wont have any problems in finding the parts u need.
U went to all this trouble getting the injectors out.. what do u plan to do w/ them.??
getting the head serviced and testing the injectors.

Fredericks site has no prices. You looked at a PDF catalog and had to call. Could not order from it either. That was last time I looked at their site years ago. Haven't even thought to buy from them as it was not a user friendly experience. I like to reward companies with not only good customer service but that put the money and or time into making a useable website. After all it is 2019, I can't come into your store and not always available to wait on hold to talk to you on the phone during YOUR business hours. I often am looking up parts late at night or on a weekend.

Now if this changed disregard what I said. But if you have to still download a PDF and look through it and call with part numbers. Or was there a separate PDF pricelist? Anyway not very useable.

Yeah, I've never actually used it.. I was on another site & mentioned Hoye WAS THE PLACE TO GO for Yanmar parts & someone chimed in about Fredricks as an option.

Your right, it is an option. And I think there good guys with a good business it's just for anyone not local it's not the best way to market your product. But I know you understand what I'm saying.

I have a similar impression of Fredricks - The do an excellent job of restoring top-quality imports and supporting their customers who buy them. Also I think they are the source for a few of the quality components retailed by Hoye etc, in particular ROPS. A first class operation.

However - approaching Fredricks as a retail parts customer, my impression, based on a couple of parts inquiries, is they aren't very good at interfacing with the random customer. I felt the employee I talked to one time wasn't the right person to have answering the phone, he wasn't familiar with a common maintenance part. I gave up trying to explain it and ordered from Hoye instead. Hoye does excellent customer service. I think Fredricks prefers to be a supplier to Hoye instead of a competitor.

Used Fredricks a few times with rather ease on parts and a YM2500 restored by them. Ordered quite a few little things from them before I came to pickup a Tiller. Had them all waiting when I got there. Hoye ended up being just as easy for just a mail order only further away.

And that's all our points. For California and I we are not driving by to pick up parts so everything is done online at our convince and then delivered by UPS. Hoye is much better at this option. Even if I was within an hour of there I would still order offline, unless my travels took me right by there and I could pick up in person and save on shipping.

I've actually had a few things sent to me from Fredricks UPS and Reg. mail. I forgot the Friction plate washer for my throttle. Called them and ordered it and it was in my mail box the next day. Hoyes just as easy just takes longer. For what very few things I've had to order over the years from both. The part #'s numbers are or seem to be the same. Just add an H to the part # for Hoye.

I used to order all my Yanmar parts from Scheaffer's tractor parts. He specialized in Yanmar parts - new and used. Haven't bought any parts lately, but see he still has a website
At one time he was very active on Yanmar Owner websites & lots of good advice.

I see several websites: Sheaffer's Town & Country Tractor and
