There was no mention of discs or plow in the brochure, but it does say your TC40A can take an 80" HD Rotary Tiller. Obviously, the conditions of your soil and terrain will affect what you can really pull with your tractor.


OBTW, KK and Woods make very good equipment.

An old ford N will tote a 5-6-6.6' disc.

I'd say your 40 will drag it all over the place.

If you had a transport disc.. It'd probably pull an 8.

Depends on dangs and angle.. and weight of construction.. and ballast.. and soil type.. and yer tires.. all things considered.. etc.. Size of gates on the property.. etc..

I agree. I actually pull the same 6' disc that I used with my 8N with my TC40DA. You won't know a 6' disc is behind you.

Get the heaviest one you can afford. I bought a 6' KK angle frame disc. I figured I wasn't going to use it that often so I opted for the angle frame over the heavy duty tube frame model. I should have bought the HD. I have at least 200lbs of weigth strapped on my disc at all times to get it to cut in like it should. It works fine that way but the loose weights are a pain, and difficult to keep distributed on the disc frame so it doesn't stress it too much.
Overall the KK works fine for me. Don't forget to get a couple tubes of grease when you buy one so you can fill the bearings.
