Thank you everyone for your suggestions and advice.
After reading all your comments and from what I read online, I was all set to go buy a Toto toilet. There is one company in town that sells them, but it's not one of my favorite plumbing supply houses. I spoke to a guy there, and asked him what he recomended for a toilet. I told him my requirements, that it flushes and the bowl remains clean. The clean bown is really a huge issue for me because I've been scrubbing my current bowl after every use for the last few years. Why it took me so long to do something about this is a mystery, but it never did fix itself!!!
He told me that they recomend American Standard and that it flushes better then the Toto, costs allot less and is easier to get parts for it. This really shocked me. American Standard is what I have now and what I hate so much. I asked him about his other brands, but he said they sell mostly American Standard and not allot of the other, high dollar toilets. I asked specifically about Toto. He said that they carried them, but he didn't know very much about them. I got a price from him to pretend like I was interested and still shopping around, but really, I was a but confused and unsure what else to do.
The supply house that I really like was where I was going to next, but while driving there, I pulled into another on the way. I never noticed this place before, never knew they existed. I played the same game with them, but this time it was Kohler as the one that they sell the most of. I asked about Toto, and he said they used to carry them, but dropped them because of complaints and dificulty getting parts for them. Again, I left there confused and unsure of what to buy.
My favorite supply house was packed with plumbers, which is probably why I go there too. They are always busy, and I think there is a reason for that. They are more expensive for simple stuff that I can get at the box store, but for a special part, they are my first choice. I asked the same question and this time they said that the Crane Titan was the very best toilet that they sold, and to their knowledge, the best one that you can get. I asked what made it better, and was told it's the size of the trap. It's 3 inches and allows everything to flow through it better then the other toilets out there. I asked if they sell many, and was told it's what they sell to all the hotels. Some hotels have pulled other brands out, including Toto, and replaced them with the Crane Titan.
Two of the plumbers sitting at the counter also commented that the Titan is the best toilet that they know of.
Then I asked about the power flush feature and if it does a better job. The guy at the counter said he wouldn't sell a power flush to his worst enemy. The noise is one part of it, but fixing them is extremely dificult and can be very, VERY expensive for the parts.
So I bought the Crane Titan. It cost $250 for the bowl, tank and seat. The wax ring and mounting bolts were extra for a total cost of $303 plus some change.
I'm grouting the tile today, then I'll seal the grout and install the base boards in the morning. After that, I'll give a report on the toilet and if I messed up or got lucky.
Thank you,
Eddie
