We are planning to revisit the John Deere and kubota dealers in a few weeks, but I am set against dealing with the same reps. My husband is set on kubota and from what I have test driven they appear user friendly. Is there a specific model from each that you would recommend focusing on?

I would think a John Deere 5085M with power reverser and 70 pto hp would be a good choice.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to update you all on our status with getting a new tractor. After WEEKS of visiting tractor sites and businesses, we decided on a used JD 2955 4wheel 97 hp, pto @86 hp. It will be coming this weekend. We needed a few things done on our punch list one of which was a roll-bar added. We went to numerous tractor businesses and still got the same response "if you have any questions just ask, I'll be in my office". when asked to take a test drive, "it's too much trouble to get out of the show room" I told my husband if I had enough time I would go back to each business and show off our purchase like Julia Roberts did in "pretty woman". The person that we got the JD from PUT DOWN his tools and stopped what he was doing and went through the tractors he had with us and let my husband test-drive them around. There is a NOTICABLE difference in the integrity of this man and that is why we dealt with him. Our "give a ****" is NOT busted any longer.
