Here is a pic of one I just made for another TBN'er. You can add a box or a wooden platform to the legs. Handy attachment for moving heavy things.

A carry-all is not a box. It mounts on the 3ph and looks like the forks on a fork-lift. You can sometimes get them at N.H. Northern on sale for as little as $59, but those are the light duty models. Here is a light duty model by Howse from Northern. This one is a medium duty by King Kutter, also from Northern. Leinbach makes one that's more heavy duty and holds more weight. It has the little triangular brace on the back corners like the one MadReferee showed. I bolted tiny casters to the underside of mine so that it rolls under the front of the rough cutter (which sits on its own low dolly) and takes up less space. I recently loaded mine up on the BX with 3 sections of cabinets all 6' long (standing on end and back to back), strapped it with wratchet straps, and hauled the several hundred lbs. of cabinets through the woods out to the rear storage building. You can use it for so many purposes!!

Well the one I saw being advertised was a box /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have seen what I now know as a carry all advertised as pallet forks...I am so confused /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Theses dang adertisers are not helping me. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
So I guess I built a carry all for my box blade. Here is a pic of it in an unfinished state.

I agree about the way things are marketed. John Deere decided to call their subCUTs "Garden Tractors" so they could escape their contracts with their "real" tractor dealers & sell through little mower shops where people know nothing about tractors and have no ability to service them. They're desperate to increase market share.

There is another type of "carry all" in the tractor world. Before the modern Caterpillar paddle scraper earth movers came along, the old scrapers were pulled by 1 bulldozer and pushed by another. My neighbor has a little scraper style earth mover which moves 5 cubic yards of dirt. Pulled by the equivalent of a D4 dozer, it too is called a "carry all".

that's a good idea! I might just think about going with your setup. I think I could carry the tank in my FEL with no problem.

That's helpful and thank you. I have an Imatch quick hitch on the back of my JD 2210. How does the carryall attach to the IMatch? Will I need some kind of adaptators? I can see where having a carryall would be valuable, because I could add some cross braces, etc, from time to time, and use it for all kinds of hauling.
This darn tractor is making it far tooooo easy for me to WORK! LOLOL.

Here is an up close and personal pic of a carry all I just built for another TBN'er. It is very similar to one you can buy commercially. Your Imatch should be able to connect with little or no modifications.

Got It! I see now how it would connect using the Imatch. either putting the tank on the carryall, on the back, or (as another person suggested), putting the tank in the FEL would work just fine for me. in fact, it would work far better than pulling a sprayer behind the tractor......and, ultimately, might be cheaper.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't save the chemical and grade or drag the drive to rip out the weeds? A 3 pt blade may be a bit aggressive, but a small floating drag works well, especially if you get it while things are moist.

I built one with mostly scrap angle iron and pull it behind mt 455. The front wings are tipped inward like this \ / (exaggerated angles) and the rear is straight. I have a cross brace/tray to which I can add cement blocks as needed to increase dig.
