OK finally had a moment to work on the little Honda EX1000.
Theory was that an o-ring around the nylon part shrunk/cracked. The nylon part is pressed in, I don't think it comes out. As Cory noted, Honda does not show it as a separate part from the carburetor body in their microfiche. I bought Seal-All and gooped all the way around the junction between the nylon and carburetor body. Put it back together and the little Honda runs perfect again. It was a very easy repair. Hopefully permanent repair (?).
:thumbsup:Appreciate VERY MUCH:thumbsup: that tip about gas resistant Seal-All, that's been added to my bag of tricks. I'm puzzled why I've never heard of Seal-All. It's not some new product.
