Forks Need a set of forks

   / Need a set of forks #61
I got the 42 inch lightweight forks from everything attachments several months ago. To me the weight was the main factor as I have a JD 2305 with limited lift, they weigh bout the same as my 49 inch bucket with my gearmore clamp on forks attached but are much stronger, can see the load better, hold the load closer, and the clamp ons are only 32 inch. Also have no risk of damaging my bucket and can lift more weight safely because the load sits closer without the bucket in the way. Mark

I have a JD 2520, and I have a 200CX FEL with a 53 inch bucket on it. If I buy a set of forks, does my FEL alreaddy have this so called "Quick Hitch" on it, or do I also need to buy that to use the JD forks, or the forks from everythingattachment.com?

Just wondering?

Your FEL has a John Deere proprietary QA setup, often called JDQA, It is very different from the "universal skid-steer QA" often called SSQA or BobTach.

I do not know if they sell anything setup for the JDQA system, But Frontier has them avalable through your JD dealer, or Horst Welding has them also. If you have a welder they are easy to make also;)

We also have 1200lb, 36" pallet forks for subcompact tractors. We use a lighter fork to help save on loader capacity. We use them for the Kubota and JD sub-compacts. Let us know if you are interested in pricing.

Those of you who are looking for a set of forks may want to build something like I did, I have a 200cx loader and John deere wanted close to $950 for a set of Frontier forks, I did not want to have such a heavy-duty set that was so heavy to lift. My loader has a capacity of about 1000 lbs, so I ordered a set of forks from www.budgetforks.com they were real nice to deal with, cost me about $150 for the pair plus a cross shaft for them. Then I set out to build something strong but lightweight, plus a few other modification such as a removable top guard, welded chain hooks, and easy to remove fork tines so I could store it in very limited space. I did alot of drawing on paper, and this is what I ended up with, I purchased the quick attach hooks and pins from John deere, I am still waiting to weld on the pins, (my loader is stored for the winter) With the money I saved I purchased a lincoln power-mig welder :D, so now I can build other attachments. I have about $275.00 in these and they will lift more than my tractor can! I can't wait to get them painted. I am also building a log splitter and have that all ready for paint. This is a hortizontal and vertical splitter. These have been fun projects to build in my off time. I am a middle school shop teacher and have access to many tools, and a nice warm place to work in the winter.....:)

What is the lifting capacity of these forks ? what are the demensions ? what is their part number ? How do they ship ?
thanks in advance.
