You may want to check out LONG Agribussiness. They are at www.longagri.com - I can't speak as to the quality or price of their current line.

I do own an old (15, 20 yr old ? )Long brand tiller. It weighs 750 lbs, 6 foot wide, and bullet proof. It has a cast iron center chunk (auto type differential drive) with ring & pinion gear drive. It has forward and reverse tilling. I don't believe anybody is building tillers like this now as the cost is much more than chain drive. If you can find one used in good shape you will like it. Probably not many around though.. I paid $350 for mine and felt like I should have been holding a gun on the fella I bought it from. If you can be patient and keep looking there are some good used buys out there.

Twinkle Toes, the 40" tiller was about right for the B7100 (13 PTO hp), but I don't think it would have handled much more very well. Now that I have the bigger tractor I'd like to have a 54-60" tiller, but am not going to spend the money since I have a tiller that works well now.

Bird, thanks. I will have a little confidence when I get the 40" tiller. I had a friend from Texas told me "never plant a garden unless it's big enough to work with a tractor" Took me a while to figure that one out/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
