Need Advice: Disk Harrow for a BX2670

Hey all,
I picked up a BX2670 w/loader last fall and I'm looking to add a disk harrow to my equipment list. I'm not overly familiar with them or what it takes to pull one. I've been looking at the Land Pride DH1048 or the Dirt Dog 100. The dealer has the Dirt Dog in stock for $1000.

The main use will be to chew up a 1 acre sized old horse pasture for seeding pasture grass and cover crop as part of a soil rebuilding effort. The soil is a Cecil Soil Series that isn't completely the hard red clay we call "Carolina Concrete".

Can a BX2670 handle a 48" harrow? What features should I look for or avoid?
Any other general advice for the first time buyer?

Here is a link to basics of selecting a Disc Harrow. Read and then post questions.

From my experience, you will need to plow before a Disc Harrow will be effective tilling worn and compacted pasture. Plows are primary tillage implements; Disc Harrows are secondary tillage implements. You should also consider whether a Sub-soiler is needed for thorough renovation. Finally, be sure to have your pasture soil tested and supplemented if necessary, before reseeding. Do not neglect micro-nutrients if recommended.

For one acre, a PTO powered roto-tiller may be a better choice. Tillers are usually available for rent.

Thanks. Soil test is on the TODO list already. Using a sub-soiler is a bit of a challenge due to a gas line and water line running underneath.

I haven't found any place to rent a tiller but I'll keep looking.
