Buying Advice Need advice on this kubota please

Did they throw in the PHD on the back of it in those pictures? I bought a
L3750 from a dealer down the road. It had about 4000 hours but seems to run strong with the 5 cylinder diesel. He threw on a BB with it to sweeten up the deal.

The loader seems to have taken the lion share of the abuse. The tractor sheetmetal has less fade than the loader frame, leading me to conclude that the loader may have been stored outside (off the tractor) and the tractor stored under a roof.

As for the ROPS: This model did not have a fold down ROPS and getting it to fit in a garage was an issue. I had 0.5 inches of clearance between the header and the ROPS. I hit the plastic lip that sealed the door on the way in and out of the garage.

If my notes are correct, the tractor is the great-grandfather of the current L-3540.

L3300: 1st generation Grand L
L3410: 2nd generation Grand L
L3430: 3rd generation Grand L
L3540: 4th generation Grand L

I had a L2900, (little brother to the L3300). The tractor was a great tractor. Good luck. Let us know how things work out.

FYI: last summer I sold my L2900 for $12.5K with no attachments.

I forgot: The tractor appears to have the GST transmission. Great transmission. Just pause a second in neutral when changing from forward to reverse lest you end up off the tractor.

Wow, this is a great tractor, it really surprised me how much it will do. I am a newbie to tractors so I just messed around on my wooded land, pushing brush and a few smaller trees. I never even idled it up much, and never went higher than 3rd gear. I am very happy with the deal I made on this Kubota. The next thing I need is a grapple for the bucket. Do any of you fellas have one on yours? I will be using this tractor to clear a lot of brush and timber on my 20 acres.
