Need advise on oil pressure!

Thats what Petebilt guy said too. I had (deleted back about april) before and after pics of pressure guage but they say impossible. I dunno what was up but they wanted to rebuild but I wanted to try it first. Try as you might but you will never convince me otherwise unless it happens again soon. Maybe double check your filter manifold, if you have one. They can be pretty tricky. This clip is one I did for a different forum.

We have a FarmPro 2420 (2cyl Ty290) and we run 15w-40 in it. When hot it does run the pressure a little low but I think it's around 15 - 20. It has never knocked or acted goofy with noises in any way. And has around 500hrs on it now (2003 model year). As for the filter. I have run Napa premium filters only on it. It's never been an issue and they usually stocked my filter so never had any special order).

I don't understand why you don't buy a pressure gauge at Napa or some such <$25.00 and hook it up just to see what it compares to one you are running. I replaced my gauge, had crazy low pressure but I didn't have any loud noise, I turned the adjustment up & the standard gauge didn't show anything where the new one showed a big difference, so I took 15 minutes and replaced with new outside mounted gauge.
