I have new B2920 with 60" mmm. Just putting on tractor to mow this week and cannot get it level. Now manual says to have front link pivot pins on turnbuckles to front pivot arm at 19.9", Lower link arms set to .7" of threads showing on top and rear connector link to 2 point arm set to 26.2" with these settings deck is not coming close to the stop arms on rear of deck so adjusted the rear link closer than 26.2" to get them to just touch the stops when raised up. Now when lowering down to 2" setting rear of deck is level side to side but is 1/2" higher than front of deck. Now for front of deck that is not level with the chute side (right when sitting on tractor) is about 1/4 - 1/2" lower than left side. What are the best steps to level deck? Start cranking the turn buckles up front or work on the rear links? If there is a proper/best way of doing this please reply with steps in order. I hate to torque things too tight to get level and put stress on links ect....

It's definitely tricky getting the deck adjusted. Especially considering that doing it wrong can prevent the lift mechanism from going into "Top" position.

I worked out a procedure that works well for me. I'm on my iPod right now so I cannot paste in the link. However, if you do a search on "Adjusting BX Mower Deck" it should come up. Good luck.

MoreCowBells - With the B series 60" mmm I could set the wheels at 4" height and lower till all four are planted on floor then adjust the front turnbuckles till they are tight and try that to lift the front and level out front side to side.

My 2920 was the same way when new. Called the dealer told them that for what I spent, I expected the thing to mow level without me having to adjust anything! They came and picked it up and found that something had been installed incorrectly and that no amount of adjusting on my end could have corrected it. Was repaired, returned, and has worked flawlessly for 2 years, even with repeated on/off of the mower.

Well after input on adjustements went back at it last night. Took MoreCowBells info and ended up setting all four wheels high and lowered down so was level on floor. Then adjusted rear links so that when slid in place would be level had lower rear left. Then on the front tighted up turnbuckles shorter that 19.9" to about 19 1/4 or so which put more pressure up front leveling front to back more so but front right still lower by 1/4 - 1/2" so turned in front left turnbuckle 2-3 turns more than right side and did bring it up so all blades are level within 1/16 - 1/8 inch.
