Two tractors..both Mitsubishi. MT160D 4WD with a Brush Cutter. The other is a MT1601 4WD with a loader
Does anyone have some ideas where I can get blades for my Texas Belton Rotary. I dont thing the company is in business anymore...Its a rear cutter like a Bush Hog. The 2 blades I need rotate on the end of a fixed which is attached to the shaft. This cutter is an awsome machine. Chews up weeds out here as big as my wrist, but I may need new end blades after a couple of more seasons. Appreciate any info offered..
Thanks...Jerry S in Ca. (head high in spring weeds) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Go to agri supply. These blades are pretty universal. 15$ each or so.

I don't know about Texas Belton, but there is a company in Belton, Texas called BELLTEC Industries that makes one heck of a post hole digger. Belton is not that big a town, so it could be that this is the same company that changed its name. Their phone number is 1-800-242-9410, and their web site is www.belltec.net.

Don't look at the post hole digger. It will bring tears to your eyes and deflation to your bank account. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif My neighbor has one on a JD7410 that he loaned me to build some fence last year. They are not lying when they say it will drill through solid rock.

Contential Belton out of Belton Texas sold out to a company called Ag-Meir,1000 E 6th ave. Belton, TX, PH. 254-939-3731.

I've been there to get parts for my Continental Belton roller pump. They are still making sprayers and mowers as best I recall. One must purchase the part from them... then go to a feed store down the street to pay for it... Give them a call and see what you discover for your particular situation.

Thanks, I'll have to look and see if I can find a serial number or something on it. If nothing else I can measure all the dimensions next time I take the blades off and make a drawing of it or even take a picture....
Thanks for the help...

I apparently have a "Continental Belton Mower from Belton Texas" mounted underneath the 1948 Ford 8N Tractor I have inherited from my father in law. Everything is in great shape but I am not sure how to care for the mower and where or if to lubricate it. Does anyone know how to grease it or get a manual for it. Thanks.

I too have a Corsicana shredder.............later known as Continental-Belton of sprayer fame...that later got sold to what is now Ag-Meier and builds the Mohawk line of cutters.

It's a 40 year old square back rig that has been drug through all manner of pasture grass, cactus, mesquite, and various odd obstacles with just minimal maintenance and a couple of welding projects upon the mounting arms to fix minor hickees.

One thing about it is the gear box and blades have never been touched. Good or bad. Always tougher than the the task they tackled.

For those of us in the area, the whole "Ag Meier" takeover is the worst thing to happen to the brand. They should have adopted the Corsicana/Continental Belton brands and ran with them. Extremely well known and respected here.

Welcome, Wally:thumbsup:

What JoeinTX said.

Ag-Meier is still in operation, here is their phone number, they will NOT sell to the public, even when there in person. I've gone there, picked up a part, transported it down the street to a feed store and paid them there.

Perhaps you could call them, find out if they can help, work out some sort of purchase arrangement if yes....here is their number.
