I think I may try for the hitch on Ebay looks pretty good.

Well got'er built works not to bad. I used one inch round bar stock for the handle and lifting bar all made in one unit. I am surprised how well it works with just the manual handle. I may later on put on a electric actuator to lift and lower the tiller but for now this works fine.

Thank you all for the pics and measurements this is a great site. Everything I wanted to know and afraid to ask.
