Thanks for all the advice fellas,
I tested it today and this is what I came up with. Using my original pic as a guide, I tested the posts that lead to the motor (yellow and blue in the pic) The down button read fine on the meter and the motor was working fine. When i tested to up button I got the usual clicking sound, no motor sound and the meter was reading a big fat zero..
So, I am assuming The solenoid it bad?? is this correct??
I asked my Amish neighbor and he said when his trailer doesn't dump it usually has colic. lol !

So the motor runs in down.
Just a click from the solenoid in the up direction.

do the last test said previously posted to see if voltage is getting to motor

Lets check some thing else is is the hydraulic level correct in the tank?

Yep, the motor runs in the down. Then when the UP button is pushed it just clicks and the click is in the solenoid. yep, the hydro fluid level is correct.

I tested the posts that the wire from the motor runs to. One had power and one didn't.

I am at work right now but I am gonna print off the tests you posted and give them a whirl in the morning. Thanks a million..

If all else fails switch the motor leads theoretically it should run in the up mode and not in the down.
