Need fast help

My brother-in-law is looking to purchase a used 4200, it has the 420 loader. As he has a Bobcat he has no need for the loader. The tractor loader combo only has 40 hours total and he is wondering what he could sell the loader for. Any ideas what it is worth? I really appreciate the help.

I can tell you I paid about $2400 for the 420 loader when I purchased my tractor, loader, rotary cutter and box blade. The JD site shows the retail price is $2919.
