When I like an idea I occasionally give it a x2. The site I use most often that has a like function also sends comments on a comment into annoying subthreads.

:thumbdown: there I made my final decision in incognito, now where's my sticker..................
Appears either one would suffice for a like or dislike function already.
And both of them together would be neutral? :D

Actually, I believe this forum is good just the way it is. No need for a "like" button, which adds no real value to the information being discussed, other than someone else's opinion of another member's comment.

I'd prefer a "thanks" button. It's an easy way to tell someone you appreciate their input without adding post after post of "Thanks for the update", "Thanks for the suggestion," ad infinitum.

F150forum.com has one that I use frequently.

Does it run a total of how many "thanks" you have given displayed with your other information?
