Thanks for the offer but you might have a hard time getting to the site. This is a ski resort in Vail and about the only way to get up the mountain is on a ski lift or snow cat.

We are putting a photo system on this hill to catch all the little kiddies riding down it on inertubes(sp). The folks at the resort have no idea of how long the hill is and the one guy they had working for them that knew what was going on left.

Well - If you willing to pay for a lift ticket, I could be "induced" to take a measurement /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Seriously, if you have a contact at Vail who will allow me to take a measurement, it's only about an hour or so drive. Let me know.

Seems late in the season for putting in a cable, unless it's a temporary setup...Vail has a 20" base already. Vail Cams
