Ok then, ... the new 4320 should be the replacement for the 4710. They both are 48 hp....

I do not see any incentives on the Deere web-site for these new units. Do you really think there will be much bargaining power on a brand new model?

Thanks fore the info. I'll give Tri-State a call tomorrow.

Thanks,

Yes, the quote was with the eHydro tranny. As far as him comming down any more, I doubt it.

Thanks Billy. I am also going to call Mike's Dealer tomorrow to compare. Can you give me your dealers info.? PM me if you have to.

How do you like your 4610? Are you pulling a 5 or 6' Brush Hog with it?

Thanks,

Would that I could!... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif haven't heard back from my dealer one way or the other in finding a 4710 or providing more info on the 4320. Have to give him a little push...

4710s are hard to come by!

It is my understanding that the 20s will be equipped better, at similar prices, so while they may not have the same incentives, actual prices will be pretty comparable when fully equipped. The hard thing will be the short supply on both the 10s and the 20s.

And just like you, Tim, there are always plenty of folks who want the old model, and only figure that out when they are in short supply.

Now, if you DO end up going to a 20, there probably will be a lot to like, and if there problems, Deere has been pretty good to fix them. (Unless its a fogging dash, not that I have ever seen one...)

Only thing I see now standard that wasn't is the DSCV joystick is now standard. Even counting that, prices are actually up by Muhammad's model match up (4710->4520) or down by all of about 1/2 percent by closest power match up (4710->4320) (not counting incentives). Most things that were options still are but some things went away.

4710 hydros are supposed to be relatively easy to find. Reverser 4710s (and 4610s) dried up real fast.

Ok. I was crazy busy at work today. It was too late in the day to contact anyone about prices once I finally slowed down and had time to make the phone calls. I called but noone answered. I guess Deere Dealers shut the lights off at 5:00 everywhere. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The local dealer did call me back today and asked how his quote was (the 4710) and I said that I had an out of state quote for the 4710 (4x4 is standard), ehydro (HST), and 460 FEL for $25,000.00 (Thanks Billy). /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

He gave a heavy sigh, and started doing the clickety clickety thing with his calculator. He came back to me with this:

JD4710 Tractor $24,709.00
4 wheel Drive
Tall Folding ROPS
eHydro $1,200.00

DISCOUNT -$553.06
Total $3,750.00

Equipment $25,285.00
Tax (3.5%) $682.13
Total $25,967.13

Ok, I'm supposed to go test drive it with the wife tomorrow morning. Should I try to sqeeze anymore out of him? Or does this seem ok?

What else should I look or look out for? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

For that matter am I choosing the right tractor. What have I done? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks,
