SG, thanks I sort of think it's actually in the axle somewhere, or at least part of it. And some of it might be that because of a little wobble, it hits the corner of the part that hooks to the top of the axle (there is only like 1/4" maybe 3/8" clearance (I was going to turn it a hair but that's where the cotter key holds it) and the wobble gets bigger, The hydraulics on the other hand need help. I hooked to my big disk so when the time is right I can open the inspection port and see what I see, it won't get it off the ground (ok 1/2" at 3/4 throttle), with the little box blade it's slow but raises all the way, with me on the drawbar it works about right. So yep there is probable a leak somewhere, and I'll have to see if I can find it to. The guy that I traded the tractor for says if I put in new oil it will work just fine, that doesn't sound right to me though

a leak is a leak. heavy oil just masks it a lil when cold because of viscosity.

none of it heals. needs fixing..
