Hi,

edit:
I have to make a choice by Thursday this week, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple 3320 tractors I'm looking at. If any of you guys can help me appraise their value (doesn't have to be exact, but ballpark would be great), I would appreciate it a lot.

There are 3.

All 3 are 3320s and come with Mid PTO, Rear SCV, Rear Worklight, Cruise Control, Air ride seat, Upgraded P4 industrial tires, eHydro transmission, 300CX bucket, & 448 Backhoe

  1. 2006 75 hours - in Showroom condition & all maintenance done on time with records from JD dealership. Owner is an older retired man who just used it to move around some soft dirt and mow his flat lawn. Always garaged.
  2. 2006 580 hours - 2 owner with heavy scratches (I have pictures if anyone wants to see) on the bucket, grill guard, & backhoe. There are also paint chips and scratches all along the arms and some on the side. Some stickers starting to peel off. The tires are worn down and have cracks. There is rust on all the scratched & chipped surfaces. The owner did all the maintenance himself (except the first 50 hour service), so no records. Left outside during part of the year (seats have sun discoloration & a little staining).
  3. 2009 60 hours - Showroom condition. Owner hardly used it and has all records from JD. It was always garaged.

Ok, I configured a new tractor with the same options and it's right at about $39,500.

How much do these tractors depreciate?

Troy,

I can give you a ball park figure based off what I paid for my 2008 3520. In 2008 I paid around 25K for my 3520 with 300cx loader and heavy duty bucket, ehydro, mid mount pto, and rear SCV. With that being said, my dealer saw it the other day and said that she would give me 24K on trade. I always garage mine and take very good care of it. I do use it however and it has almost 600 hours. Not much time by some standards but for a hobby it is a fair amount. The 3320 is JD's one model down and I would estimate the price on the 2006 in mint shape to be around 18-20K. The 2009 to be around 20K. I'm not sure what to say on the one that you basically described as being used commercially. I'm particular and probably wouldn't even consider the one that is well used. But that is just me.

Hope this helps, maybe someone else has some better numbers for you?

I see you are a new poster. Have you checked tractorhouse.com There are 97 3320's listed there, unfortunately none appear to have a BH. I would think an installed 448 has to be in the $4k - 6K range depending on condition.
When I sold my 2008 3320 O/S with 447 BH and 300CX at 3 years age and about 200 hrs (less the MMM) I only lost $2K - $3K based on what I had paid.

Back in 2008 when I got my 3320 it was 6 months old with 90 hours on it and in like new condition. Ehydro, 447 back hoe, 300CX loader, canopy, 4 ft Frontier rototiller and Frontier fork attachment. $24,000 private sale which was around $10,000 off new retail at that time. I would think your low hour ones should be in the $20,000 or less range.

bubbacuse77,

It must be outfitted differently because I saw the invoice and it was 16% off retail and still 30k in 2006. I don't think they went down in price, the dealers I spoke to say they only go up in price every year (4 - 5%). They also said because of emissions standards they're going up almost 4k next year.

Hmm.

I didn't get a Back Hoe. I missed that on the original post. That is probably the difference. I do know that I got a good deal however.
