What is the Polaris X2 ? Is that a new model for 2007? Not familiar with it....

The X2's have a slightly longer wheel base and are designed for 2 people to ride at once.

Get yourself something with IRS, your butt and back will thank you for it.

Olezz,

All depends if the majority is for work or play. My Honda 450es will wear you out trying to put 40 miles on it trail riding. My son has a Honda Rancher and it is much nicer riding trails and manuvering. All the brand names are good. You have to ride them and see how they feel...

If you want something for fast trails and play, I suggest you buy one of these. Here is a picture a buddie took of me two weekends ago.

p.s. I am looking to trade it in on a Yamaha Rhino 660.

If he was in his late 50's he'd have to be drinking a LOT of beer to get that high in the air. If he OR she is a teenager thats just horseplay....Actually looks like an F-4 Pilot...

Wanted to say, the Polaris X2 has a rear axle differential disconnect that allows it to turn on turf and not tear it up and makes it's turning radius much tighter. This one feature may make it extremely desireable to anyone using around the house alot.

I have an X2 and the turf mode works perfectly. I have very aggressive mud tires on it and it still won't damage the turf. The little dump box is handy also.

I wouldn't trade my polaris for any other brand. Polaris (in my opinion ) has the best 4 W.D.Polaris has all wheel drive which is better than other brands 4 w.d. because only 3 wheels only pull in 4 w.d.

This comment is exactly why my wife does not like to ride our Polaris 700. It steers extremely heavy and when in 4wd on uneven terrain, is constantly yanking the bars depending on which tire grabs hardest. She would rather ride our Kawasaki 650 because it uses an open differential in the front with a selectable locker for the tough spots. It steers easier and is a lot less tiring.

For us we prefer solid rear axle Utility machines too. They are more stable and predictable than rear IFS. A couple minutes on our Polaris with IFS and a couple minutes on our Kawasaki Prairie with solid rear axle always brings comments from people about how much better they like the Kawasaki.

More importantly in today's market should be a machine with Electronic Fuel Injection. If you buy a new machine with a carbeurator today you will find yourself with an obsolete machine in a couple years when you want to sell it or trade.

I agree with the EFI comment. I Like the EFI a lot. Cold starting in winter is excellent.

Seems like overkill and too much power for the tasks. Honda Foreman with ES, (electric shift) would a good choice.
