In Missouri a TC24Da 4wd,hydro,rops,r-4,12LA is quoted firm at $16756. He would move a little on the 33Da ($19150 same setup w/14LA) but the 24Da is quoted FIRM, take it or no. If you add a 60' mmm to either add $2200 and $2500(33).

I think he said he was quoted $17,900 for a TC24D 12LA. NH seems to be higher than most, I feel like they know they have a good product with innovative styling and are charging for it while they can. According to the threads I've seen on JD, they are switching to the sloped hoods and curved arms on the FEL ala NH. My problem keeping me from swinging to NH is that with apples to apples on the setup, I can get a mmm on the JD for the same price as a NH without. I just haven't been able to pull the trigger yet, because the "free" mmm on the Deere is hard to pass up.

You can get a Kubota B7500 hydro with a front end loader for around $11900 in NE Ohio. The TC24D is way overpriced. I think the 7500 is the tractor you are looking for. Horsepower isn't a great issue, but ground clearance is. I assume if HP were an issue you would be looking at something with 30+ HP. The B7500 can handle the same implements as the B7610, but I think it is not recomended for trencher use (once again HP issue). you could probably get a B7500, FL, MM Mower, and maybe a rear blade for around 14500. Just a thought, I would hate to see you spend too much or end up with a subcompact that is too small.

Where in NE Ohio can one get those Kubota 7500's with that eqipment for $14500? I am in the market for a new tractor and that surely does sound appealing!

Funny thing you say the TC24 is way over priced, when I priced them last summer, it was $1200 cheaper than the comparable Kubotas. But one thing that I have learned from TBN is that pricing is very regional and even within regions of the country, dealers are sometimes out of line with their pricing.

The other thing to consider is that the TC24 is considered a fully featured tractor and the B7500 is considered a bare bones value tractor. The Kubota that compares with the TC24 is the B2410. The 24hp value tractor would be the B7610. There is no real bare bones tractor comparison in the NH line to the Kubota B7500, but the TC21 has similar power & lift ratings.

For those of you who may not have seen it, I just posted the following on an original post I put on here re: NH TC24DA pricing:

"OK, all, I think I've talked myself into going ahead and taking the leap (even though DC is trying to talk me into a ZT mower - I've got way too many "other things" I could use a tractor for; ZT's only mow grass, thats it!)...TC24DA hystat/industrial tires, 914A MMM (rear-discharge), 12LA FEL (54" bucket).

For those of you who commented on my price question...I'm located in Illinois. After extensive research, I got a quote from Corriher's in NC (a dealer I see many on tractorbynet are familiar with), for $16,650 (and no sales tax, since I'm delivering back to IL ). I have to travel 750 miles (each way) to pick it up or pay an extra $900 for shipping, but it's still a better deal than I can get anywhere here in the midwest, and since I've got a 7700 lb tandem flat trailer, I think that's going to be the plan. I've tried Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Indiana...all were between $17,400 and $18,300 give or take a few bucks. I even tried Texas, around the Houston area, thinking that perhaps a port city would be cheaper, no dice

I'll post pics as soon as she's home"

As Bob mentions, the geographic differences are amazing. As you could see, after looking in 6 different states, NC was by far the cheapest. However, Corriher's was also the dealership that had way more tractors on the lot than anyone else, so you can see why they can probably offer such low prices.

I need to first, regrade it and then work it to either terrace or at least smooth it out. Not to mention that I have to cut a trail for my tractor. Then, when I get all that done, I want to use it to maintain the property and to give my grandchildren rides in the small trailer that I will get for it.

First, I have to say that Bob and I are in agreement about backhoes being less than a number one priority. We are also in the minority, here. But, when I read the above about how you plan to use a tractor, I'd say that a backhoe is just going to get in the way. For grading, you'll want a box blade to work along with your loader, and a backhoe is just in the way for a box blade, small trailer, or any other rear attachment.

I think in the long run, you'd be happier with the NH. While I normally use my TC18 (no longer available as such) on 5 acres, I've had it on my 1/2 acre commercial property (with a building and a parking lot) for several months, and have had lots of use for it, without finding it too big for the property

I have a BX 2200 with a sloped front yard and I would not want anything "taller" on it. There is probably 20' difference from the front of my yard to the back and it is only 70' deep there, so you can imagine the slope. I am glad that I have the BX2200, it has done everything I wanted that is should do, and some that it probably should not do.

As for the cut, I like it, I have the 60"mmm. I wish I had the 23 but then I would have a backhoe too!

In Ohio I have seen B7500 w/ FL for 11900/12900. Check with Bortnick's Tractor Supply or with Middlefield Farm and Garden. They are great dealerships too - great support and warranty work.
