MarkR the part that has come to head is the timothy part of the field ,the alphalpha seems to be in good shape nice and green. and the fiels seems to be thick for the first year . This field was planted last fall.

Farmerjim I am starting to see better weather for next week ,just a slight chance of rain then clearing so hopefully I will have a stretch of good weather to get it done.

Ah, ok. So all the "color" we are seeing are the seeds? My neighbors field which no one cut this year, except for me mowing it, has gone to seed yet again and it looks totally different. But I am guess since it is not Timothy I am just seeing the seeds on his with no color associated with it.
