Not sure how much the kits would be, but the O rings and seals are not that expensive a la cart. 6-7 years ago I took a large lift cylinder into a local hydraulic shop and asked if he could sell me all the seals I would need to rebuild it. To my amazement he pulled out some wrenches, disassembled it, replaced all the seals and o-rings and sent me on my way in under 10 minutes for under $10. Clearly it must have been a slow day and I caught him in a great mood, but it just goes to show you seals and O rings are cheap.
