Need help hydraulics?

Was Bush hogging today and everything was normal. Raised the three point and it won't go back down. The linkage looks intact. The loader arms and transmission (HST) operate as normal. I did see that the hydraulic sight glass looks empty. No leaks seen but definitely empty.
I'll get more fluid tomorrow and fill it up until the sight glass is halfway again, but . . .
Any ideas what might be going on? Surprised it is staying up instead of dropping and surprised everything else working fine.

Could it be the knob under the seat? It controls the speed when going down but if it's fully closed, it won't let the 3 pt go down.

Sometimes when turning and looking backwards, you can hit it with your leg and eventually close it. Doesn't take much force at all.

Thank you my friend. You got it in one! Was actually my 13 year old nephew running it today. I'll beat him about the head and shoulders&#55357;&#56833;!

And, the hydraulic fluid is right where it should be as well. Guess the nephew has more seat time tomorrow!

If you install a hydraulic top or side link, you may have a "3 point not raising" drama too. Several times when the the linkage to my top link hydraulics sticks in one position or the other un-noticed (not neutral), the three point falls and won't go up. The first couple times this happened I was in a panic that my hydraulic system had failed.
