Need help identifying Lever and Valve combo

Dual made good stuff. They were taken over by Woods some years ago who made things under the Woods Dual name for a while until the Dual name went away. The broken piece is part of your loader control lever, looks like some kind of ball joint type thingy. I'd take that part to a few dealers and see if they can identify exactly what size it is; my guess is it's an off the shelf part and shouldn't be too hard to find. Or I would think that any decent welder or machine shop could fabricate one for a reasonable price, it doesn't look like any big deal. My Dual loader is a one stick operation, not two.

Hi Bob,

I think you are on the right track, my 155 loader must pre-Woods (no Woods branding). So while the Woods tech was accurate, his explanation was incomplete. He didn't tell me the whole story about acquiring DUAL, and adapting that design to their cable lever system, hence no schematics showing the single lever/ball joint assembly.

Does this look similar to yours?

Search model 1310. Open 'Hydraulics" folder. Open page 05E03 titled '2 Spool Remote Valve and Piping Kit (Option)'.

There's your valve & joystick. It has nothing to do with Woods or DuAl.

Hi Rick,

You indeed nailed it. You are the master of parts navigation. The link is great for all things Ford 1310. I can't thank enough for the help!

This looks like a slightly updated design, with the pivot (the part that broke) having a bushing, mine has no bushing. Could be that mine is not the first to break.

The part in question has the noble title of "bracket" and comes in at a mere $156.00 or $289.55, not clear why there are two prices for the same part.

I think I'll pursue the machinist route, first.

This is the first trouble I've had with the 30 year tractor, its good to know there are resources out there to help.
