Don the link didn't work for me (I'm at work and it could be a firewall issue) but it is possible that is the one I am trying to bring in. If the link is to the Channel 4 page in England, that is the one I am trying to bring here. What they don't say is HOW they did (or actually screwed up) several parts of the restoration. Basically they made it look good for TV but . . .
Anyway I've had some very long conversations with the guy who had it partially restored via the TV show (also named Bob so he must be a good guy) and he provided me a copy of the video. It shows a "donor" body that was actually never used. The engine is essentially untouched (I have photos from him that show the inside of the hood as a bunch of rust). Basically the interior is also undone. They took some black rubber mats and put them where the interior seats belong, plus on the floor. All the work was done a couple years ago, and the wooden floor is now rotted again will need to be replaced.
But, while I did post a photo of it in unrestored condition in the photo gallery, I did go back after a week or two and "fess up" that it is not still in that condition.
EDIT :: OK I finally got the link to work, that is a different one, not the one I am bringing in. The one on Monster Garage is a Ford T-Bucket roadster being converted. The one on the British Version of the Discovery Channel is actually the one I am attempting to get here. Two totally different units. Somehow, I think when Jesse James gets done with the T Bucket it will resemble more of a snow dragster than the one I am bringing in here!!! His will probably be a lot more fun too (at least for a bunch of guys) but I am trying for something for the whole family to use on trails so I suspect mine will end up being a better family vehicle.
