I found one package of those lights at Pepboys today. Just like your experience, the store only carries one box. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Once I decide on how to hang them off my ROPS, I will pick them up.

I used a piece of .5 inch wide steel in an "L" shape bought in a pack of four at Home Depot, and a large worm gear hose clamp around the ROPS and one leg of the "L", the light bolts to the other leg. Wanted something temp so if I decide to put a lid on I can move them forward. Actually mounted on the upright of the ROPS so I don't have overhead clearance issues, not that there is a door to hit yet.....

I started this post months ago, since then I've learned a lot on this site. I finally picked up a digital camera so I'd like to post photos of the light setup I ended up with. I used it this winter for night snow removal and they worked fine. I hope this helps someone else. Thanks to all of you who helped me. These are the front lights 55 watt halogen

Switch for front and rear worklights. Forward position for front pair, rear position for rear worklights, center is off

Great job Casco!
Where did you get the lights from?

PS. Better tighten that screw on the box you have the front light switch mounted in! A little Blue Locktite (242) goes along way on tractor hardware with all the vibration.

Good eye I'll take care of that. The 4 main lights are from Northern Tool 55w halogen Trapezoid beam $19.95 each. the fifth one I bought at a local parts store. The rear switch box, radio shack, the rest I had hanging around.

Are you using the switches to handle the load or did you use relays?

PineRidge, No relays at all. When I started to ask questions about putting worklights in, Soundguy tried to explain to me what relays do and how to install one I just didn't get it, I refer back to the name of this thread. I bought one installed it as per the directions - nothing - no juice no lights no matter what I tried. I had done a lot of DC wiring over the years car stereos, trailer lights, troubleshooting auto wiring so I just went ahead and did it direct. Inline fuses on each power line and switches and wire plenty strong enough to take the load. So far so good
