If it worked for 5 hours it is likely a wire that has been chafed through the insulation, but not always making contact with the frame to short out. To check where they come through the cab or are close to the light mounting bracket could be a good place to start. Those things can be hard to find, so keep some spare fuses in the tractor so that if you are on the road and the light fail you have a few spares to try and keep them running.
