I think you have your selector valve plumbed backwards. Look at the diagram on "STEP 3" in this link from SelectPlus: http://www.hydraulicstore.com/images/pdf/Trausch_Dynamics_Selectplus.pdf
Looking at the valve with the solenoid up, the inlets are on the left, the primary outlets are on the right, and the diverted outlets are where you have them. So primary flow should go from left to right and you have it plumbed from right to left. Mine is the cheapie from Baileys and a different manufacturer but it plumbs up just like the one in the link.

We have pressure coming in at A1 and B1. They go to A2 and B2. When you divert then they feed A3 and B3. Don't think it's plumbed wrong because it goes left like it should. It is only when I go move the lever to dump it will not go right.
I think the guys are right about the regen because that is the only thing that is different about the two functions.

Now if I could only convince my hydraulic guy.

I dont understand how a valve with regen as the 1st stop could give you a controlled dump. It seems it would start to move quick  and then slow to your choice of speed in the 2nd section. Sounds bad.

Dunno Larry, but look at the shot from the manual I posted in post #20. It doesn't seem to make sense to me either, but that's what the instructions say. The only thing I can think of is that they assume the only reason for non-regen use is for "other stuff" like snow blades, etc so you don't need to feather it first (but that seems silly to me).

It sounds like you have it right the way yours are labeled.

If it's regen the blade should pretty much be free to swing in either direction when you tell it to go right, under pressure but balanced with the 2 cylinders connected. If you substitute a larger diameter cylinder for the right swing or go to a single dual acting cylinder it should behave more like the bucket function.

Yeah I am going to let the hydraulic guy talk to the engineers tomorrow and see what they say. I may not get it straightened out this week as I leave on Thursday on a cruise. Snow is gone and fishing is coming but I can't stand something half done.
I really want to get it sorted out and put it behind me and move on to the next project.

Hi Folks I have an update. Today I took the hose from the raise/lower circuit and fed the diverter block with them instead of the curl/dump. The blade functions fine without any problem. Lower for left and raise for right.
At it turns out my loader valve has a regen function first and a normal dump second. So as soon as I moved the lever to the dump in anyway shape or form the circuit locked up.
Turns out JJ and the boys were right from the get go. I was hitting the regen and not even knowing that I had one.
Thanks for all your help I have learned a lot and so has my hydraulic guy. Just have to make up 4 new hoses.
This is a great group of people on this website. Thanks again

Just saw this thread today. I have the same issues on my bota L3000DT. We did the same thing. When you want to raise the blade joystick right. Drop the blade stick left. The only problem with this is when you first raise the the blade it drops down for an instant and then it comes up. Push the stick forward blade left. pull back blade right. The only problem now is I removed the blade and put the bucket back on and now when I the raise arms for the bucket they won't raise all the way. The cylinders still have 3-4" to go and it acts like it is deadheading. The tilt on the bucket still works fine.

But then you should be able to push past the regen zone into regular and it should work fine as is. ??? Am I missing something?

I just read the manual that I have. Duh
It tells me that serial numbers higher than 50001 have one that dumps fast then slow (regular) as you move the lever farther right.

Valves with a number lower than 50000 have the other. It dumps slow (regular) then fast as you move the lever to the right.

My loader number is 558?? so I should have the first one. However this is not how my loader works. It works like the other one.
Just when I think I have the answer they change the question.

Thing is the dump should not be able to exert much force in regen. And yours is able to push the tractor up with the bucket anywhere in the lever travel. Mine has the regular dump first and I can valve it gently for a slo lift or more for faster -- but if I go too far and get to the regen part the tractor falls back down. Your situation is confusing for sure. Are you sure the diverter is connected correctly. Do you have info on its porting layout?
