Need Help on Kubota B21!

I'm needing a trailer for my ATV's and my friend told me about an auction he read about in the paper that had a Hurst 16' trailer that I was going to go bid on. Anyways, there is also a 1997 Kubota B-21 with Kubota front and rear buckets with Kubota fiberglass canopy. The picture looked nice, but it didn't say what condition it was in, but it has 1250 hours. I don't have plans on bidding unless I think I can get it SUPER SUPER CHEAP too resell.

What would be a SUPER CHEAP price?

Does anyone know what wholesale price is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would expect a 97' B21 with backhoe and 1250 hrs. to run in the 15k range around here and maybe a bit more if in good shape. The B21's are little industrial units that hold their price very well when you can find a used one.

Check the front drive axle if you decide to bid on it. Rental agencies and utility companies use many of these tractors and I have seen two with bad front drives due to being used on pavement full time with 4wd engaged. The front tires are normally pretty worn out also.

Just a side note. The canopy is not fiberglass but steel with a reinforced cage under it to meet OSHA standards.

The average price range for a B21 you have described is about $15,000.

I really don't think it will sell very cheap at any auction. I have seen these sold at a few auctions and rarely do they go cheap. As a matter of fact, I think they get more!!

I have seen beat up b21's sell for $14,000. Good luck and keep us posted on the final price.

for some reason a lot of folks overbid at auctions, don't know why, but they do. got to be very careful , some folks jsut think if it is auction they can get it for a good price. not always so.
