Need help on used Kioti LK3054

Looking at a used 1996 LK3054 with 650 hours, with FEL, Brush hog, and 6' box blade. Still negotiating price but should be down below $8000 when done. I do not have a Kioti dealer close by and am worried about parts. I do have a large JD dealership close by that stocks lots of parts for many brands, but not specifically Kioti. This Kioti is super clean and very well taken care of.

Are a lot of the parts from this tractor the same as on other tractors?

How is the Daedong engine and getting parts for it since it is a 1996?

What is are your thoughts on this tractor?
- purchasing to mow 5 acres of light pasture grass, snow removal in the occasional blizzard (use ATV for common smaller snows >24"), some dirt work with FEL.

Thanks for helping out a newbie who is tired of riding a lawn tractor for 12 hours to mow the fields 4 times a year!

I have a 2004 I like the tractor mine is a tlb
the only problem I know of with these tractors is the aluminum hydraulic pump they fail
check with magnet and see if you have aluminum pump
if you take care of it she should last parts are available through kioti dealers and no there are not others interchangeable not sure if you are thinking kubota parts migh fit they will not

I'd call a kioti dealer and check on parts availability

I have been happy with mine. I believe it is a 1998. It had 196 hrs on it when I got it, and now i have 305 on it in 3 years of ownership. It has done everyting i asked of it.

Dislikes are: small operator area, and narrow front axel. It has been very reliable. I set the rpms at 2700 and run my chipper for hours, i also last winter ran a 75" snowblower on the back. I have a grapple on the front and I have moved some large trees and rocks.

I get parts such as filters on-line, my nearest Kioti dealer is 60 miles away. -Keith

The 3054 is a good machine.had mine since 1995.I worked it hard with a woods BH750 doing custom work.I had some problems with it over the years,but that is normal.I did loose the front axle at 212 hrs. Dealer fixed it no problem.The mig weld on the mounting bracket was not the best.

I would go ahead with the purchase.
