Need Help Pricing Old Farmall "H" with Loader

How about scrap the awkward unsafe loader, get it running, then sell it as a running restoration project to an old timer who has the time, money, and interest in restoring old tractors?

Since so little is known about it, it's not worth more than salvage. $500. If you want more, then at least determine that the engine isn't stuck and that the block is not cracked. Then maybe $800.

That is about what I was thinking as well. It is really worth whatever nominal price you can work out with the buyer. If someone wants to take on the project and your friend can get $500 out of the deal then it is fair enough. Someone is going to have to invest more than the tractor will be worth in restoring it so you are looking for someone that just wants something to tinker with for the fun of it.
