I am in the process of purchsing a TC 35. I owuld like to run a power angle snowplow by mounting it somehow to the skid steer quick change loader brackets. My question is what kind of aux. hydraulics should i select to run the angle cylinders on the snowplow. The dealer said rear remotes but I need remotes that will allow me to angle the plow by using the joystick or some other method..?? Any ideas? Thanks!

Go to the PHOTOs section and look under the CASE-IH heading. Spread out over several pages, you will see photos by TV372 of a very slick diverter valve and front remote hydraulic setup. Here is one example:

The Case-IH tractor is the same as your Class III New Holland, only painted red. Your dealer should be able to accomplish the same thing for you.
On a second note/suggestion. Some front attachments need constant adjustment. These are the kind that work best with a diverter valve. If your front blade gets set at an angle and then pushed for quite a distance without constant correction/adjustment, the rear remotes and a long hose will work just fine. You can save yourself a lot of money by going with the factory rear remotes.

I also added the front hydraulics using a diverter valve. So far it works great and was quite easy to accomplish. In fact I would venture to say it may have been less expensive than a rear remote if you do it your self. And I had my Grapple on the rear remote before this. I like this setup much better.

When I did mine on the TN I also moved the location of the FEL quick connects. I did not like the setup used by NH in that lines hung down under the tractor. And the quick connects were a bear to get to and was an overall bad design. I didn't like getting down under the tractor to disconnect the lines for the FEL.(Lazy?) So my job was a bit more complex moving the lines and Q connects up to the diverter. In fact while I am on the subject some other TN owners might find useful. I was able to add a lever on the back of the tractor to operate the 3 PT hydraulics. With a cab tractor it is a pain to hook up 3 PT getting in and out of the cab to adjust up and down. I also was able to put a lever on a rear remote outside so that I could extend and retract the hydraulic top link (for TNT) I only have the top link. If any body needs info on this let me know.
If you have any mechanical ability at all and you want to try to tackle this yourself I am sure we could talk you through it
The wiring looks complicated but is no more than lets say a car stereo without the correct plug. one thing I would change from Pineridge is go with a momentary switch for activation. This would eliminate the LED and use a simpler relay.
The hardest part was sourcing some of the parts. But in the end we just needed to find some new vendors and they were all local. Let me know if you need info. Good luck

When using a grapple or making constant adjustments to the angle of a snow plow it will be more productive to be able to keep your hand on the joystick then for your hand to need to move to the rear remote lever to make the same adjustments. All movements can be performed with the same joystick.
Plus hydraulic lines stretched from the rear of the tractor to the loader are lines that are just asking to be tangled up in a stump or branches at some later date.
If you look at all the applications where electric diverter valves are used you will see hydraulic lines that are 50% shorter in length and located up high where they are less likely yo have damage done to them from being caught on ground obstacles.
Jim can tell you first hand what happens when obstructions catch and cause damage under the tractor like a hydro filter. It's another good reason to keep all hydraulic lines up and out of harms way.

John I merely mentioned to Junk that every year we have an open house party here on the 4th of July and all of a sudden he and all his relatives and their relatives, relative's are planning on coming for the food alone. They'll each be wanting a doggy bag when they leave the party too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Junk also mumbled something about taking one of our daughters with him when he leaves although I don't have a clue what that's all about.
The way I figure it, if he comes and brings those two snow plows of ours then everything else that happens afterwords, we'll chalk up to holiday fun.
In all seriousness though we do have an open door policy on the 4th and all TBN members are most welcome to come. Anyone needing more details only needs to PM me and I'll send them more info on the event. We always have lots of good food, and we get a crowd of nice folks to share the event every year.
