Need help TZ25 3 oint troubles...again!!!

if you tie thge lift handle 'up' does it effect the leak down any? No it does not. I've tried that, moving my remote valve.... maybe the "check valve" would be worth a try. Jinman, when you say leaking.... you do mean internal leak? Maybe I will call the dealer and see how much these valves are. Start with the check valve, and see what happens??? Spring WILL get here sooner or later, and I want to "play" with my tiller. I appreciate everyone's help. Thank you!

Like a little metal shaving from the machining of the parts or even some thread sealing compound that dislodged and got caught in the check valve. Not unusual. It should be easy to fix instead of needing replacement. just be careful of the order the parts are in when taking it apart and putting it back together. Watch out for the spring loaded ball!

$477.57????? $546.03?????? HOLY SMOKE!:confused2: Well, it looks like I will be looking at them first. Later this week, when the threat of snow is gone, I will take these out and make sure they are clean, and go from there. Thanks guys! If you ever need advice on an old Oliver, just ask... Oh my!

I looked directly at New Holland's site and didn't see the prices. Holy smokes! That whole valve is over $2600. OUCH! Double OUCH! You sure wouldn't want to Easter egg that problem.:confused2: I am truly stunned by those prices.

I hope Drewtrac can find something more. He seemed to think that new tolerances have been established in the part and it has much slower leakage.

I only see two parts of the check valve that could have a problem:
1. The ring shaped seat under the ball could have a nick or groove.
2. The spring above the ball could be broken or bent (not likely).
More likely something is stuck in it.

The pressure relief valve should be similar.
What are the chances you can get the individual inside parts?

$2600!!!!!

I think I would look at retrofitting something from another tractor before I ever plunked down that cash.

At this point.. pull her apart and hope for a piece of debris in there!!

worst case.. try to find a working salvage valve...
