So far the LS is winning in the numbers race. Only thing that is less than the other tractors is lift height of the FEL. about 1ft less than JD and 9in less than Kabota. However lifting weights is 300lbs more that JD and 1000lbs more than Kubota. We are waiting for the LS dealer to send me his bid.

Loader marketing has become deceptive in recent years. Compare ratings at the lift pins, subtract about 30% for bucket/fork weight capacity (approx.) Lift height is a product of reach. Unless the additional height is required, loader projection reduces maneuverability. Constant lifting at loader capacity can easily result in a Two-piece tractor, remember NO Frame or chassis on compacts, most smaller utilities. That loader weight is ALL BORNE upon a bolted connection to your engine/transmission housing.
