Another great product is PB Blaster, it'a a penetrating oil I've had great luck with. Is the mowing frame mounted (mule drive)on the tractor?
I think once you get e diagram it will all make sense.
I've used large breaker bars with pipe extensions and a block of wood to keep the blade from turning, once they're off, grease them with a lithium or white grease before replacing, they'll come right off next time.
